They didn't say it was and to call it one is to imply that it is a very specific type of keyboard. So try see it as a universal device given the fact that it can do whatever functions you need.

I think your expectations will hold you back from seeing the concept for all it is. You just want it to sound just like the other complete and closed arranger keyboard out of the box. That's fair enough but since it does not come shipped like that, don't just close your mind to the concept because the concept far exceeds the abilities of every arranger and workstation combined.

Remember it can be whatever you want. Lionstracs only focus should be making sure that concept works flawlessly and gives you the tools and flexibility to turn this into your dream machine.
