Motif is Montage... just the next step and a different approach. Genos will be mostly Tyros... just the next step in the evolution. And I agree, they are providing a musical platform to reach a younger demographic.

Tyros 3-4 was a tiny jump. Tyros 4-5 added features and 76 keys but it functioned the same.

Genos is a step years in the making. And since the Motif morphed into Montage... Tyros will morph into Genos. Those tools we lost in the Motif will hopefully fall into the function of the Genos.

Time will keep on tickin'... into the future. 2-3 years from now, we will be talking about the new Genos 2 and the doubling of the features for an incremental upward price increase!!
