There's only ONE reason anyone ever refuses to post an example of what they are talking about... INSECURITY.

Whether you feel you won't get a fair shake from the forum, or whether you just feel, once you actually bother to record yourself and realize, well, perhaps there's a way to go, insecurity lies at the heart of this.

Lot's of people 'talk the talk', but let's face it. This IS a musician's forum. What good is the 'talk' without the 'walk'..? We connect, we UNDERSTAND what each other is trying to say by musical example. A monkey could type a lot of these posts! But he couldn't play an example.

Talking about music is like dancing about mathematics...

It's the wrong medium to illustrate your point.

Maybe even a recording is not enough..? Some of the 'entertainers' here really need to be seen on video before some of their views become apparent. Me, I'd pay good money to see that chicken hat routine
