I just read your post, I am almost 99.999% sure that is the false contact where you conect the adaptor, like Gary said, I see it when our customers that like you, play out constantly and conect and disconect the power adaptor, makes that situation possible, so you can say that is kind of the PSR 3000 weakness for a lot of use, this do not affect our hobbiest customer, since their 3000s stays at home.
