Hi Guys,

Thanks for your response.

Ed, I posted here because I am considering the purchase of a Tyros 2 and thought might run across an accordion player with one. But what you said is helpful, if there is an actual switch to turn on and off the arranger that would be nice. I started with a GEM WK 2 module, and I could do that very thing. When the arrange was off I could manually play bass and chords and I would have which ever voices were in the particular style I had selected.

Can't seem to do that with the Ketron XD-9.

Giovanni, yes I too love the old standards, and ballroom type music. I also love and use auto rythms. I just like to sometimes play manual rythm to keep in practice. You do have a very fine line-up of midi accordions, saw the Concierto up close and personal last week. Its quite an instrument. I'm not so familliar with the Elkavox, I did own a Cordovox and just recently gave it away. It was about 30 years old!

Well nice to chat, glad to meet all accodion enthustiasts.

Thanks again,
Don
