Hi Don , The Elka 83 was under the Irio (I think that is how it's spelt )brand in the USA.
Well you used to own a Cordovox !! I could only dream about that great Electronic accordion ,in the UK it cost a fortune and i could never afford one in those days ,and when i could it was no longer made and the technology had moved on also .
My good friend the legendary Valentino (known as mr Cordovox )in the uk had a quadrophonic cordovox in the early 70's I played it many time it was truely awesome with also the cordovox leslie speaker .his cordovox was virtually custom built and cost about £10,000 in the seventies .He actually toured with the Beatles , and worked with nearly every leading star in the Uk
even now i think the sound is unique .
I went to Vegas to buy my concerto and i'm pleased with it .
do you attend the Las Vegas accordion Convention ?
