Hi Scott,
me again, just in case you don't have any luck and the Tyros sequencer doesn't do what you want,
have you tried using a software sequencer to do what you're doing and just use the Tyros as a sound module.
You may have a bit more controll over it.
If you don't actually have one, there's demo's online of PG Music's Powertracks , so you could actually try before you buy. I think it retails for under $30 at the moment.
I was never overly fond of my 9000 pro's sequencer
I think some of the brain cells must have died when I read the Technics announcement.
I'm now confusing audio signals with midi signals. Might have worked with your if your
digital recorder had been a synth module ( haahaa) it must have been that "midi out" that confused me. I think I need to lay down and give the o'l brain a rest.
Read the specs on your Korg recorder, wow, it's amazing what they can do nowadays. I usually avoid reading about new stuff, just in case I get tempted and buy something I want, but don't really need.
best wishes
Rikki ( ex technology junki)

Interesting concept, but I don't know how the recorded drum track can send a signal to trigger the Tyros sequencer to start playing. Rikki, I appreciate your feedback though.
