I understand what you are trying to do here. I take a less complicated approach though. I do this quite often with a drum track....

Analog > of the Tyros to analog < of the recorder, but do not arm the tracks, you just want to be able to hear the playback through headphones and sing along with it for tempo and phrasing. This is essentially what I did when Roel wanted a clean vocal track without effects.

As long as you have some sort of count in on the Tyros tracks, you can sync it all up after.
