DNJ, you got a point here, but we still need someone to push the envelope and experiment with radically new features and designs. That might be the primary role of Ketron, Wersi and of course Lionstracs. Then we can let Yamaha/Korg/Roland produce more user friendly - and cheaper? - versions when the technology has matured.

Personally however I don't believe in gigabyte sample libraries and disk streaming in arranger keyboards. This is very complicated technology and it is still difficult to get it to work 100% perfect even on high end PC's. Arranger keyboards are primarely for live playing and in a live situation you really can't appreciate the difference between a well programmed 32 MB ROM piano sound and 10 GB disk streaming piano sound - just my opinion. In addition ROM is much more reliable than a hard disk
