Since you do not reply to either my PMs nor the PMs plus emials of others, I hereby ask you publicly:

Can you assist in providing OS5.2A for the Audya 4 module?

Thanks,

Henni

Hi again AJ,

You really amaze me. More than any one over here, I have up to now:

1. Defended you publicly making myself extremely unpopular.
2. Promoted you in any way I could.
3. Complimented you over & over.
4. Recommended you in any way I could.
5. Advertised you in any way I could.
6. Posted demo after demo of your creations over here.
7. Highlighted your good service over & over.
8. And...and...and...

Now, what I get in return from you is a cold shoulder... Not nice or appropriate at all!

Henni

Time zones has nothing to do with it. Both myself & others sent AJ Pms & emails for nearly a week already without any response whatsoever from him...

Tell me how time zones have any effect on this or are you a week behind us?

Do you know how hard I tried to get this thread up? Every time I tried I was informed that this topic already exists. No matter how I tried to change the header or the contents. Tell me this has anything to do with time zones! But off course you won't believe me...

Maybe the guy is busy, maybe he is not home, maybe he some private and personal affairs where he needs to be or a family matter.
But, let's rub it in his face because that will for sure help both parties.

Not rubbing anything. I've always had a good relationship with AJ. However, I find it strange that he does not comment on this Audya OS topic which has now been running over here for awhile. If anyone can make a suggestion or get this problem relayed to Ketron themselves, it is him.

This is a serious problem for us users & not just another nitty gritty thing. I have no other contact to the factory but through AJ & therefor I'd like for him to get involved in this topic/problem. Now I have a friend with an Aydya 4 module & I'm desperately trying to get a copy of the last good working OS for his unit. Amongst our users we already have copies for the Audya 76 & Audya 5 which most are running on their units as we speak.

I'm not used to AJ ignoring me, but this time it really seems like he is. He has commented on various other posts/problems since this problem has been highlighted over here, so he is aware of it.

AJ, in case you did respond, please note that, as I've informed you in another post, my email has changed to buildtofly@yahoo.com as I'm no longer employed by exxaro.

I have made a test with Ketron's Audya style compiler & found that ANY style created on the Audya itself has a divide by zero problem as well as one or other header problem. Other midi software cannot open these styles as it contains links to audio loops, so I do not have any tools with which to investigate this Ketron induced problem any deeper & I'm anxious to get to the bottom of this. Somehow, OS5.2A ignores this problem, but not so with ANY other OS version to date.

I'm sure if any Tyros 5 owner created something on his/her unit which cannot be shared with other users that they will also become ever so slightly agitated by it, believe me!

Is it me Henni or is this a little bit... gaudy? Cheap? I mean, you made the point before the list.

Mate,

Let's get this straight, for all to see, shall we?

In the quest to copy protect his styles, AJ took all his styles to Ketron to encrypt them so that they will share the same copy protection as the rest of the Ketron styles.

No problem there, as this is no more than fair. After all, it took hard work to create those.

However, which is not fair, is the way in which Ketron implemented it. Now us users are stuck with the result. This should be changed, but it seems that because AJ has invested interest in this, that he would not push this any further.

So, now AJ is giving me a cold shoulder despite what I did to promote his interests before. See it as you may mate, but in my eyes this is unethical.

Do you still remember the rap I took for him from Russ & others because I tried to defend his position on selling Audyas at below dealer prices? No, I bet you dont! Where were you and your opinions when I was busy taking the rap for that? You weren't so bold in your opinions then, were you mate? But here you are talking about being "gaudy" to me NOW...

Honestly, I have no idea what you are talking about, anyway, I am not dening your right to be upset and frustrated, I understand that. But I think to do all those good things for Ketron/AJ and then throw it out as a reproach... Do not feel bad about any good you ever did!... smile

No mate,

I highlighted it to show my support for his efforts to date. But now that I need his support for this specific & very serious problem, it seems that it's not coming. AJ <IS> Ketron as far as I'm concerned!

Not to worry though, I'll let it go. Time for the Yamaha again! Like to think that I blew a little life & excitement into the Audya series once more - most of those new styles were created using midnight oil. I would have liked for ALL Audya users to be able to benefit from it, but not so for the Audya 4 series users it seems. Not too much happening in this regard from the factory or other Ketron affiliated resources any more!

Cheers,

Henni
