Donny, can you test something for me..?

We at SZ talked about the HK's a while ago (I think Frank talked about them) and there was some indication that, when used in mono, with the satellites stacked, the frequency response was somewhat different to when they are separated for stereo (due to the coupling effect of the sats). Some talk of more robust mids in that configuration, I think.

Would you mind running a good CD through the system in both configurations, and let us know if this is particularly noticeable?

When I ran the stack in mono, with the speakers attached to the woofer, I had quite a bit of mechanical rattle from the sattilites. The bass is pretty strong, and they didn't fare well in that test. I recommend the poles.

Sounds great......I'm at a gig now using poles.....definite keeper.I like better then my old Bose compact for sure
