Yes indeed. If Roland can launch an arranger with stuff from the Jupiter 80 it would be right up there. And I fully agree on the ease with which the SA/SA2 in the Yamaha comes into play; it`s really a stand out feature.
Glad you liked the signature... Its actually an analogy I wrote from a paragraph I found in a book called the Tao Te Ching. It goes like this

My dad was a bricklayer and always joked about how mortar kept the bricks apart rather than keeping them together. He used to use this analogy while I practiced the piano and it made me see the principle of spaces between notes as being every bit as important as the notes themselves. Thanks, Dad.

Had anybody heard and tried this keyboard at NAMM? What about the sound? does it sound "cheap"?? As fas as I know, it is below 1000$ so, no sequencer isnīt the end of the world but if it sounds better than a Casio (or cheap Korg...) I think Roland has something here...

Thanks musicforyourday. I see you have a G70, I think this is one of the best arrangers ever built, does the BK-5 sounds too different to G70 (Iīm talking single sounds)? The drums arenīt better than G70? I heard a few BK-7m demos and I think the drums are pretty good Another question: Are the roland styles longer than the one measure yamaha styles ?
I have a Tyros4 too, but I still donīt like the sound of it... Regards Jo
