I hope you enjoyed this first SZ eJam. I have taken the liberty to post all of the entries on a website for easy listening - a special word about Eddie's YouTube link, it doesn't seem to work. Take care and God bless, all. http://szmembersite.googlepages.com/szmusic

Beautifully done, Tony...it really shows when you know your keyboard well...the KN has as contemporary a sound as the newer ones.

Nicely sung...you created an nice "nite-club type" atmosphere.

Ian ... thank you... much appreciated ...
It was pretty reflective of the music I generally play and the venues I play in

Tony Mads,
what a beautiful voice you have. It just seems to me that all you Italians were gifted with the pretty voices and the rest of us got what was left over
You play your own backup and did a fine job over all. I really like it,
thank you for sharing,
Bebop

Now that I see it's pretty easy to use Box.net, I remembered that I had Nearness Of You on my website, so I thought I'd include that in the ejam for those that have not heard it.

I recorded this on the Tyros 1 in February, 2005 using the easy record feature. I then recorded it on my computer at 2496 in Sound Forge. This was the first or second time I had played this song, which I had heard the Glen Miller band do live under the direction of Buddy Morrow when in college.

Hi Scott,
A nice relaxed version there, with memories of the Tenor Sax from good ole Ty1

If it's permissible to talk about archived versions , I produced one on Ty2 about 3 years ago, sounding somewhat different to the Ty3 version I posted earlier, although in a similar "style".
Quick Recorded to midi, re-recorded as audio on the hard disk recorder and converted to .wma on PC.

Thanks guys for both entries - it's always better late than never.

Scott, check that embouchere, I think you might need I new reed - lol. Seriously, the song is very nice and smoky sounding; nice playing.

John, very nice orchestral sounds and also good sax playing. Good articulation on the trumpet.

I've saved these with the other Nearness jams, so it's like you were always there and on time.
