I am a new PSR2000 user and I am just trying to get to know it. I have downloaded some extra voices from the PSR TUTORIAL SITE, and I am trying to include one of the voices in a Registration Memory but without success and can't see what I am doing wrong. I have loaded the voice which is called "Live 9 strings" to the user page of the voice section. Then I progranned my Performance Memory with this USER voice in MAIN.I then saved the performance memory as a NEW REGISTRATION BANK. this should have saved the new voice, yet on returning to the main screen and pressing the performance memory again the new voice reverts to the default voice " Live Strings" Am I nuts??? Cheers Jean Olivia.

You are not nuts. It's a quirk. Even though the new voice does not appear on the LCD, it is indeed the tweaked voice that you are hearing. So you can keep on editing voices, but the voice name won't appear when called up through a registration.

Welcome to the PSR2000 world... After over a year I still find something new. You get so comfortable with your perceived limitations. Then you discover something new. I wish I would have taken the time to figure out as much as possible when I began. Cause I put limitations on the board that where not their...
Good luck,

Thank you Beakybird. How strange!! I would not have guessed that was the answer as the imported STYLES saved to registration banks in their correct name. Reguards. Jean Olivia
Dnj-- I have downloaded and printed the tutorial and find it very helpful, but it just did not have the answer to this, or I couldn't find it. Jean.
Beachbum--I am looking fowward to finding out all about the PSR2000. I have a KN6500 and a Roland G800 and an Atelier Organ and I love them all.Cheers. Jean.
