I like a lot of the guitars on the 2000. However, their not one that’s in between. It’s either hard rock, heavy metal… lead, crunch, overload… ect.. Or nice pop type guitars and acoustic… twelve string, Spanish, vintage… Their no guitar that you could use in the middle. Like a nice electric, that doesn’t sound like pyrotechnics should be going on while you play’em.

As you know, you can edit and save the sound as a User file.

Yeah, I did check out the XG and Gm voices.
It just goes to show you how much the sound tech has improved... I'm going to go with the crunch... Heck why not have a little hard rock influce in this song...

Thanks anyway.

I like Crunch too.

I find that sometimes, especially for chord work, doing the entire chord using the "heavier" guitar voices just sounds discordant. What I do then is just do maybe 1 or 2 notes of the chord with the "heavy" voice and do the rest of the chord with a "normal" voice. Stills sounds "heavy" but more harmonious.

I also sometimes use the "Harmonic Content" and "Brightness" controllers to tame the voice a bit.
