I fell really stupid. I've had a few phone calls the past few days asking if the Midjay could remove the vocals from CD's. My reply has been "no". I just called AJ to tell him how important this feature would have been to have implemented on the Midjay and he informed me that it has it already.
If you have a wav file, there is a mute lead button (which I just never noticed) which automatically finds the frequencies and digitally removes them. The only catch is that you must do this with wav and not mp3 files. However, you can take any audio CD and plug it into the stereo inputs and record the song, which becomes a wav file and then you can use the lead voice mute function. Or, you can convert mp3's in a computer to wav files and then just copy these through the USB jack into the hard drive.
I hope those who called me read this forum. I'm sorry for not taking a phone number to call you back.
