I've used both the workstation and VR. The VR has the workstation beat by a country mile, realistic sounding harmony, and built-in reverb. All components are adjustable and programable. If you're a live performer, the VR is the way to go. If you're into lots of studio stuff, the TC may have the edge, but it's too expensive for what it does.
