This unit has had many favorable reviews. Sound quality seems to be quite good and most people seem to be satisfied with the Vocalist VR's Harmony function. Note: The Vocalist VR does NOT have Phantom Power built-in. Also it does NOT have a Noise Gate built-in. If you sing in a Band the Vocalist VR has a nack for picking up the Band's Voices and Instruments in the Mix. So you will probably need to buy an external Compressor/Noise Gate to eliminate that possibility. "If you sing in a Band that is." If you do not sing in a band, you should be okay. You will have to be careful were you place your Speakers though because the Vocalist VR has a tendency to pick up your external sound source in the Mix.
