Well...I'm about as far south as you can get. Back in my wedding band days we played at the PGA National CC (you've probably heard of it). We were playing just one of eight parties in the clubhouse one night. Among other restrictive instructions we had, we were told on our breaks to go behind the false walls which were like a secret passage way from the kitchen to each of the ballrooms.
No eating. No drinking. No talking with guests. No chairs. Just stand and wait til time to go back on.

So...these seemingly rude requests were at a southern venue.... owned by YANKEES. (I guess DonM is right...Yankees seem to be mean by nature. Nah...it was just business as usual at places like this.)

Still in all...good memories and very good paychecks.
