I'm sure most people have heard the story of the famous pianist (Horowitz, maybe -- Diki, a little help here ) who was booked to play a super high society gig. When asked his fee, he responded, $2000.00. Fine, said the hostess, but admonished him not to mingle with the guests. He responded, "In that case, the fee is $1000.00".
