Curious as to why you didn’t use the Hibernate function on your old computer which saves an image of the ram, and which just takes a few seconds (Depends on the size of Ram) to load back in. (I suspect it was more then boot time that caused you to get another computer)
BTW Its not just size you get with a larger hard disc, but faster access and data transfer.
Also 1.12 Tb seems a bit small in this day an age
