Hi George, thanks for the compliments calling us: 'sophisticated users

. . . but the reality is that Yamaha's 'OS updates' (1.10 & 1.20) contain only basic 'bug FIXES' not new feature enhancements. These fixes addressed things that were just 'overlooked' in the initial OS release . . . nothing exotic. What dis-pleases me with Yamaha is not the bugs themselves (afterall, a certain amount of bugs are inevitiable), but that they (Yamaha) mis-led (?) to us, advertising & promoting the PSR2000 as OS flash ROM-able. One of the 'key' reasons I chose the 2000 in the first place was knowing that I could install OS updates myself. Because my keyboard is my 'bread and butter', I can't afford to be without it for any extended length of time. If the 'chips' are down, I may have to switch to 'toast and jam'. I know Don Mason knows THIS tune
