I play a Yamaha Psr 8000...amongst other things..

This board (as far as instrument choices and voices go) basically has an orchestral selection, There's a couple of stack and crunch guitar selections, couple of jazz guitar renderings and a few others under the "XG" designation.

Synthesizer voices are fairly generic.

Nice board and I've had a ton of fun with it.

But I have to ask...as far as arranger boards go are there any out there that have a more rock n'roll, blues, pop sound selection built in?

Korg? Roland?

Also in your opinion, which is the most reliable board out there right now? (Customer backup, parts, breakdowns etc.)

The psr8000 style selection is a little basic and cheesy. Great for highschools and child prodigys into Beethoven or anyone who loves soft and light rock.

I spend hours replacing voices, drum kits etc. and tailoring the styles to my liking and effect.

Thoughts?
