There's the Yamaha Tyros2 and the Roland G70 for starters...also the new Roland E-80 and the Korg PA-800.

These are all fine keyboards with plenty of newer styles and great sounds...each one has slightly different strengths and weaknesses.

If at all possible, you should play these keyboards, and rely on your own ear in judging what's best for you.

I used to own a PSR-8000...a great keyboard in its day, but technology has moved on, and there are many wonderful new instruments from which to choose.
