Here's mine:

Our band was hired by a local company to play for a retirement party for one of their valued employees. We drove 35 miles hauling a trailer containing an organ and leslie plus stands and pa. We setup, and were waiting for the guest of honor to arrive. She arrived and was so overwhelmed by the whole event that she suffered a heart attack. The paramedics arrived and took her away. The man who hired us came up to the band and said "no one feels like partying now, here's your money you are free to go". We left never having played a note.
