Donny, it is hard for someone that has used music scores for so long to so called "Memorize" tunes..They are use to reading melodies as well as all the chord changes.....Most people that "memorize " tunes ..2..5.. their way thru a song and depend on vocal strength to cover up the changes,, and throw in a few licks...Does it work ..of course, and it makes performing easier.....
