Hi Beakybird, I first thought you meant the music rest. Mine broke and I glued it with super glue and it has never broken again. But you mean the slot. If all else fails, you could use a music stand. That's what I use now, as it's more heavy duty anyway. When at home, I am not banging around. When gigging, I kind of bang around on the keyboard, making it shake. Which also means I need a better keyboard stand. :-)
