Why would you go from a supersonic plane to the wright brothers?
LOL! anyhow although I have a PA4x I also have the the Medeli, it is a very powerful arranger for the money, but it needs work and knowhow which is a slight difficult learning curve for me, as far as the video done on the comparison Medeli vs Ketron he is not trying to promote the Medeli, because he makes the best worldwide sample for all the arrangers except the Ketron because Ketron was always a closed system to make your own.

Thing is, yes although good ‘for the money’, it is still in a totally different price category to things like the Event, Genos or PA4X, and totally different capability.

I still don’t get the need, once you have the TOTL why anyone would want to spend a ton of time learning a new OS on a cheap arranger when you already have mastered the best thing available. As was said earlier, wouldn’t all that time and effort be better used improving your playing, expanding your repertoire, or exploring maybe little used parts of your current TOTL arranger, like its sampler or style creation tools..?!

Time is the one thing that’s finite. Yes, you may have enough money to buy as many arrangers as there are, but there’s still only 24 hours in a day. What’s your time worth? Every hour spent trying to set up a new low end arranger is an hour you didn’t spend improving your TOTL one…

Yes Vangelis, it's imperative (as well as a forum rule) that you MUST justify everything you've purchased WITH YOUR OWN MONEY. Whatever happened to "I'll buy whatever I want and You buy whatever YOU want" and neither of us needs to be made aware of what a terrible decision we've made. Oh well, seems to be a common theme these days. Probably done with good intentions, but extremely annoying. Just my .02 cents.

Hello All

I bought the SX900 to play at home, with friends. Wanted something easy to transport with built in speakers so I didn’t have to set that up every time.

Genos was paid for by my gigging jobs and is currently in storage(in my house)

Maybe people are bored and leaving because they have nothing tangible to contribute except for sniping at actual discussions. Please feel free to take your dissatisfaction with the forum elsewhere before we start pruning people who have absolutely nothing to say but complaints.

Either be a part of the discussion, or go somewhere else. I am sure you’ll find something to bitch about there. No doubt they’ll look at your ‘contribution’ with the same disdain I do.

Last and final warning.

Hi, a friend found a style site that is planning on doing styles for Medeli, not exactly cheap, but they do sound good on the keyboards they already make styles for.
Whether or not they suit the music one plays is personal thing. Good sign if developers are creating styles and samples for it.
