Her voice and piano are like one instrument. I assume you’re referring to her husband, Elvis Costello. No she wouldn't get noticed much, except for her looks in the jazz piano world but as we all know, or should know, its about the vocals. Same on the male side with Harry Connick. Very good player but his looks and voice put him over the top. My wife loves him and we've been to a few concerts. One was bad, his Funky Donkey small band. Adverstised that it was NOT the HC Big Band but people don't read. Many walked out. Both are, areas you say, "The Complete Package" Too bad some the audience wasn't very accepting of the HC's small funk band.
