Hi - I have owned a couple of Wersi's years ago - last was Scala "CD 700" or similar name. Looking at the current range of Wersi's ... wondering if anyone has heard whether the Sonic + OAX is still (and will be) the current line, or have those been around long enough that something totally new could be coming relatively soon? I know that it would only be 'rumors'. I wonder how long Sonic hardware with OAX software, can keep being updated etc. vs. a whole new line? (One thinks of things like this when contemplating a big purchase!)

OAS (The previous instrument range) lasted for over 14 years with constant software/hardware updates/upgrades, so as OAX came out in 2014 there is a long way to go yet. (You can download the latest brochure and manuals here https://www.wersi.net/en/en-service-downloads/)

The CD line you mention lasted 10 years with various hardware upgrades.

Note: there is a dealer not too far from you https://www.wersi.net/en/en-haendler/ according to google maps, however please remember that while you can usually negotiate on price, they are not cheap instruments, however you won’t have to keep trading them in to get all the latest features as you just download the software update and load it in the instrument.
