OAS (The previous instrument range) lasted for over 14 years with constant software/hardware updates/upgrades, so as OAX came out in 2014 there is a long way to go yet. (You can download the latest brochure and manuals here https://www.wersi.net/en/en-service-downloads/)

The CD line you mention lasted 10 years with various hardware upgrades.

Note: there is a dealer not too far from you https://www.wersi.net/en/en-haendler/ according to google maps, however please remember that while you can usually negotiate on price, they are not cheap instruments, however you won’t have to keep trading them in to get all the latest features as you just download the software update and load it in the instrument.
