I arrived here about 12 years ago, hoping to learn from the pros who frequent this forum on a regular basis, and learn I did. I learned a lot from Uncle Dave, Donny Pesce, Don Mason, Fran Carango, Eddie Shoemaker, Hank Bowman, Joe Ayala, Tony Madalone, and a host of others. I took the time to drive the length of the United States to visit many of them, watched them perform, took notes, and launched a very successful musical entertainment business. Their knowledge took me from entertaining just 2 times a week to as many as 10 times a week. I learned a lot.
Unfortunately, the only thing I had to offer in return was my technical knowledge of Yamaha arranger keyboards, their operating systems and how to convey that information via the written word. (Also via telephone.) Consequently, I was not able to help those that owned other brands of keyboards as much as I would have liked.
This forum has allowed me to meet some wonderful individuals over the years, and I only wish I could find time to visit more of them in person.
Thanks everyone,
Gary
