My buddy tells me his friend, who sings in a punk rock/grunge band, really pisses off the bass player when he sneakily reaches over during a song, and gives one of the tuning pegs a good twist.

He says, when the bass player eventually notices it, he gets even madder when he won't tell him which peg he turned.

That was point of the story with the word "eventually" being key.

I figure, with that kind of music, being out of tune might have even made him sound better...
