I hate reading this kind of stuff.....I just want to hear people making good music with a unit and being happy with it. I really hope this person gets this taken care of and the Audya is 100% afterwards.

I hate scribe this up very much but this is not the way to sell a instrument that isn't tested appropriate and then sending the new Os to fix problems.
Did you go to the stage to sign and play, you do the sound adjustment and after half hour when you must start to play the keybord(brand new)don't work.Maybe you should try Dnj sometime.(maybe you will). So I spent 4000 eur to buy a new keyboard and now I must take a second keybord for backup.just in case.
This is write????????????????????
I don't thinki so.
So the Ketron Audya is a beta version and we should not pay anything for a beta version.
OK.http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/icons/icon8.gif

Still think that if they would write a COMPREHENSIVE manual detailing EVERY function in detail -with PROPER explanations of ALL the options available for that particular function then just maybe things would be a little easier for us gullible musicians who fork out extraordinary money for ketrons,
AND, a proper separate manual for the new Audya 4 module just released with lots of bugs.
They expect A 5 users to read the keyboard A5 manual, and then read between the lines as to whether a particular function will work on the module or perhaps it only works on the keyboard version.
Its very frustrating to say the least

I really feel for the people that have bought the Audya and have had nightmarish problems. These same people, however, have helped me learn the OS, for which I'm grateful.

In my case, hopefully, I am trouble free. I do know that some of the problems were prior to the latest update, and the process of updating. I bought mine with a factory update and just love the thing.

I thought long and hard whether to buy a more mature OS, but felt the sound and features were worth the gamble, knowing that Ketron would eventually get the bugs out.

is it realy necesary to make a post about a post?

I don't know whats going on out there but we have had none of these problems in the UK and I have a feeling we have sold far more Audya than the USA as the UK is one of the worlds biggest TOTL arranger markets

they are not uk problems they are people from outside the UK posting on the UK forum, most of them are the same ones that post their problems here.

I know that because I am the Service manager for the UK and I run that forum.

I cannot offer you a magic cure for your 'bugs' i am afraid. But you must remember the few frustrated international audya users on sz that have complaints represent only a tiny% of the total number of owners. The majority of whom are perfectly happy.

The few problems we have experienced in the UK are handled directly with the customer by phone or in person and rarely via an internet forum. We also work very closeley with our retailers who keep in touch with each Audya user and inform them of updates. If we cannot help when a problem occurs we will email or telephone Ketron Italy, who will come back with an answer, either straight away or with a reply that they need to discuss with their engineers. Either way it is normally resolved within a few days.

But we only have the resources to do all of that with our own UK customers that have brought via our retail network.

Ok Tone,I can anderstant what you say for your oun coustomers in UK.If I belong to that tiny grupe of user who complain about bugs and errors in that way I haw no wright to say autloud what hapened with my instrument and haw no right to ask for help and sugestions haw to solved my problems.Nobady in UK cant and dont want to help me.I will never write my problems on any forum if I reciwe yust one ansver from Ketron.Ketron guys and behavior is reason for all this.
So I can made conclusen about all:cos I am a tiny part of all this I am then allso peace of **** like my Audya.
Thank you

Have you called your distributor? have they contacted the factory about the problem?

If one of our UK customers contacts Ketron Italy the Italina office simply sends us a copy of the email/fax or whatever and leaves it to us to handle. Unless its an unusual situation they do not talk directly with end users from abroad.

so it may be down to your distributor...you are waisting energy here because there are no official Ketron people on SZ. AJ works for a retailer in the USA and I work for a distributor in the UK. We can point you in the right direction, but it is realy your distributor who should be sorting your problems out.

I've had several problems with 1st, the Audya4 and then the Audya5. When I called support for the Audya4 on a Friday, I was told by the Technical support person they only provide support on Monday and Tuesday???? WTH? I say to myself; "I'm on the phone with you right now, why can't you answer my question??"

Obviously the US support for Ketron is no where near the quality of support as in the UK.
