For my daily driver, I went from a 2008 AWD Honda CR-V to a 2012 Subaru Impreza Sport Premium.

Lots smaller, with a Constantly Variable Transmission, AWD and 36 miles highway.

Honda got less than 20MPG. Other cars are Scions (2006-1500 cc's-the Don Mason car, and a 2008 2400 cc version), 2007 Toyota Tacoma, a Chrysler 300 with HEMI....(bad, BAD mileage) and several others...older...lots of HP...restored show cars.

Wierd to drive a car with no gears shifting. Kind of like a motor scooter.

Quirky little car totally redesigned for this year. I think we'll all be driving smaller more efficient vehicles very soon.

With the price of gasoline expected to rise AGAIN, that's a good move Russ. My 2004 Toyota Camry (4 cyl) seems to be using more fuel lately, and I may need to update to a more efficient vehicle.

So far, after 4,000 miles, mileage has been a pathetic 21 MPG. Supposed to be 27 city-36 highway.

My Tacoma gets about 27MPG in the city. The oldest Scion gets 30 MPG.

Be careful of the claims of superior mileage from Subaru.
