Help --- Please
I am looking for a not to expensive midi controller keyboard to add to my Kn7000. The ones I have seen and the one that I have will only send one channel at a time. I need a controller which will allow me to split the keyboard.
Example. C3 to G4 one channel. G#4 to C5. C#5 to G. This will give three areas which will to trigger three different channels (Instruments) on my Kn7000.
For Big Band can you imagine; Rt 1 Hi-trumpet – Rt 2 Full Brass – Left Hand Mellow Brass – 1st section on the controller plays Solo Trumpet – 2nd section plays a Trombone --- and the 3rd section plays a Clarinet.

During a song I can select one registration and have the instruments below ready to be played.
1-Hi-Trumpet
2-Full Brass
3-Mellow Brass
4-Solo Trumpet
5-Trombone
6-Clarinet
I do not want to spend a great deal for a Midi controller, it will be used in my home only,

John C.

My Axiom 61 can split the keyboard into 4 zones on different channels and save confguration. The Roland PA800 is also a good controller with, perhaps, better feel but only assume it does the same thing.
