And nycase did a great job of making it to the kn6000 specs and getting it to me on short notice ...

chony

The dimensions of the cases I have mentioned are listed in the ad. If I were to get one I would have the depth changed to accommodate a T3 or T4. It costs around $25 for each spec change I was told. I have listed that the ATA case is supposed to be between 15-20 lbs. The Tuffbox is supposed to be between 10-12 lbs. THe Tyros models all weigh about 33 lbs.

OK, so we've got verification that Tony's nycase case is about 19 lbs and of good quality. Great to have an SZ members first hand account of this.

Interesting that it is basically the same weight of the Tyros soft case as well as the Kaces KB9 and 6 lbs lighter than the Gator 76.

Sorry for the delay. The Roadrunner 61 key deep bag is the same size as the Kaces KB9, just a tad deeper. If the old KB9 fit your Tyros, the Roadrunner certainly will too.

Are the sides and bottom as rigid as on the KB9 Kace? Do you know how much it weighs?

You'll love it. I've had mine about 5 years... to from Hawaii, Europe, Cruises... I have beat the shishi out of it and it looks great and is built like a tank. After you get the 3rd degree from TSA you'll be able to take/ship via air. Good price on it too. Handles have nice rubber pads and the wheels help move it around. I also looked at Gator and that company in NYC... Casino?

Enjoy and rock on!
