Does the S910 read RH chording while allowing the LH to play bass? I know the Korgs do that and it's an attractive feature for those of us that are used to LH bass playing. Also, does the S910 recognize rootless voicings (in either RH or LH)?

Wouldn't rootless chord recognition imply you AREN'T playing bass?!

I would imagine, as picky about the inversion you are using as this is (it's why I'm not a big fan of the feature, which isn't on Roland's anyway), you would have to have the chord recognition in the top half ONLY, or the lower note might upset the recognition of the chord (mind you, I don't have a Yamaha, so I could be wrong... Ian? Scott?).

This would be awesome if you could split the keyboard in THREE, or have a rootless mode that only triggered with a three note input (like Pianostyle Mode), so you could still solo on top...

I usually play LH bass and chords/melody in the right hand. It would be nice to have the board respond with fuller ACC to the chords I play in the RH.

I do occasionally have the need to play LH chords and was just wondering if it reads the typical (and perhaps not so typical) rootless voicings.

Gilbert...could you elaborate a bit, please? I do not have an S910 or the manual.
