Nice Fran Hey.., I think that sax needs the attack adjusted a bit. That D-Beam would do wonders for the sax solo too...

Very nice! One of your better recordings, sor sure. I like the subdued style and the sax work is examplary. Would you care to share any recording or playing details? I'm always looking for pointers. Thanks for sharing, Fran.

Squeak,.....if you change the attack it will lose the blown characteristic with more velocity. Unless you use two same sax sounds with velocity switching..then you can change the attack on the softer sax.

Couple of moments in it where it sounds like the sax scooped while a chord change happened...

It is an SMF, ain't it?

If it wasn't an smf Fran you have been under-rated with your playing/best use of arranger ability. Very impressive sounding and one of my favorite tunes. Whether it was an smf or not it's certainly makes the G70 shine!!

Very nicely played Fran, that sax was excellent...not quite up to the SA Sax on my S900, but very well phrased and quite realistic.

Style or SMF backing?

Ian

Fran - did you sequence the song? You must've, since the piano and sax come in at the same time. Or maybe used some toes

I play that song live on my PA and few have ever heard that tune! It was one of my Dad's favorites.
