The best trumpet on an arranger for that type of music is on a Roland. (Not much use for other types though)

Bill with a simple statement like that I would have to ask you to provide a demo of it...Roland is no match for Yamaha to my ears regarding Trumpet.

Click on Latin or Brass....

You know what's irritating is Yamaha using the Megavoices in the sound demo's. If it was in styles OK, but they use them for solo demos. How many of us can play a Megavoice live?

i'll take your trumpet in post 1 and raise it with this one
http://www.box.net/shared/i31p1fcowo

It's a custom voice made from the Ty2 SilverTrumpet designed to bend in various ways depending on velocity. (Not the SA trumpet which can't be accessed for this type of editing)
There was NO use of the Pitch wheel in this demo

Awesome, John...you do terrific work...I have some of your other voices...absolutely exceptional...the piano that has it's tone controlled by the mod wheel is a work of art and very useful.
