I put a few songs recorded on the job on the SD5.
If you listen, some of the volume levels are hotter than others.
These were recorded on Zoom H2, from headphone output. Here's a direct link.

I know a song about dirt-track racing. Is that close enough?

That's close enough.

sounds good, you got that good ole' country western sounding voice.

I can't help thinking you are always wearing a 10 gallon hat while singing

Thanks Dan. I started singing one night because the singer didn't show up and I wanted to get paid.
I'm experimenting with mics again. I have two Sennheiser E855s that are getting a little old.
That's what I used on these recordings. I also have Samson Q7, Samson R11, Shure SM 87 and SM58, Crown 311a and a few others, but I nothing I've found seems to be any better than the Sennheisers.
