Looking forward to your opinions compared to the Sd5?

Looking forward to the G70. I love Roland as you know. In fact, I hung on to the VA a long time, hoping to use live, but it was not suited for fast play. This looks like it might be Should be tons of fun - that's what it's all about anyway.

You are doing very well, Jim...the G70 is a nice piece of work(although a tad heavy IMO) and I'm sure you'll love the styles (the Latin and Fusion are terrific) and the keyboard feel...not to mention the great piano sound and added keyboard length.

Hopefully it won't be too much of a challenge to transport to the many gigs you do, but I'm sure you have prepared yourself for that little aspect.

as i said it before, i am greatly astonished how easy you get from great excitement to great disapointment with all of these keyboards.
there is NO WAY you can honestly give 4/10 for G70 after what, two days?
with all the respect, but this does not really benefit anyone. meaning users, especially new users that are looking for information.

i dont question your taste, but i must doubt your objectivity when testing a new keyboard. the fact you are able to change and try new things is perfectly ok, but, if you allow me to give this piece of advice, spend more time with it before you decide it's really stinks... it's quite confusing when today your so happy with it, and next time when i check the forum i find out you sold that keyboard alreay!

Please tell us what you liked & didn't like with the G70 arranger was it the weight, the OS, great keyfeel or?..........
