Certainly the G70 will be easier to sell than the SD-5.

My guess for the G70 sale...the weight and OS.

If you traded just to sell, that was a wise move...Captain Russ was luckily there to give you the opportunity.

Maybe Fran or Diki would want a backup? Doesn't seem to be another G-series on the horizon...or Roland is just being very tight lipped and is going to launch a real doozie.

I found the Tyros2 a little more difficult to gig with than the S900...built in speakers are handy.

Right Now a Big wait & see attitude is all I'm willing to do at this point.....
I'm content at the moment with the gear I'm performing with ....using some work-arounds is tolerable at this stage.

Zuki....can you elaborate a bit on how you've arrived at these ratings on each....no offense but you tried the G70 for about a minute? The G70 is a deep unit & can do anything & everything very well... I really dont know how many people would agree with your assessments judging by the above rating list....but when something isn't right for you moving on quickly could be the best thing.....discussing ones experiences always helps others make other potential buyers richer in information to decide.

Jim, so sorry things didn't work out for you. See the above post. I'll be glad to reverse the trade, but I believe the G-70 will be a lot easier to sell. Man I hope I like the SD-5.

No problem. I think I'll never be satisfied with anything but Yamaha. But I'm going to play it at the party in my house tonight and check it out better.

I do have a buyer that wants me to ship to Australia. Does your company do that?
