I was understood that the way the Bose PAS worked was the 24 drivers covered different frequencies, so that each driver did not have to work that hard, because it only had to hand a certain freq. This is why it seems that feedback is not that much of a problem, As for the 3 amp system this is true. but not as a left top, right bottom and sub for the third.
I have set-up Bose PAS for a stereo set-up and it works, with a bigger sweet spot than conventional because of the massive spread.
But the whole idea behind the PAS is that each instrument should be coming from a different area, so the PAS was designed for the group where each person had their own system to give the real stereo sound because each inst, coming from a different area creating a cleaner direct sound.
I used the PAS in every situation and I have only had a couple of problems, but nothing that would make me go back
