Here's an idea.
Why not use the Bose PAS the way it was intended?

It is a "Personal Amplifying System". It does a fantastic job standing straight up.

Frankie nailed it when he said, "....the whole idea behind the PAS is that each instrument should be coming from a different area, so the PAS was designed for the group where each person had their own system to give the real stereo sound because each inst, coming from a different area creating a cleaner direct sound.
