Here are some videos of the Discover5 from Roland:
Discover5 Vocal Harmonist Demo Discover5 Vocoder Demo Discover5 Voice FX Demo I bought a TC Helicon Voice Live a couple years or so ago and found getting around the different menus and settings a little confusing. The Harmony effects were nothing to write home about if you ask me although a few of them were pretty decent. I ended up taking it back because of the less than intuitive interface even though the Voice Live was specifically made for Live performance use. I'm still using my Tyros VH and found that after setting the Master EQ and effects for it that it is actually quite passable for OMB work.
I will make sure my next high end Arranger has a stellar VH onboard. My Tyros is passable as I said but my next Board must surpass it and hopefully by leaps and bounds. I don't want an external if at all possible because of the hassle of packing, setting up, and tearing down an extra piece of gear along with the cabling that goes with it. If we pay $3,000 [£1,592] or more for a keyboard shouldn't we expect a top notch VH to be included onboard? I know I do..
Best regards,
Mike
