I am officially a Tyros owner from today. Thanks to everybody who provided various information about Tyros. I am convinced and am now a Tyros owner. Now I may have a million questions to ask from today on. Here are two questions:

1, what I should do next? (what should I buy and....)

2, Secondly, I have two computer speaker systems. Now I cannot connect either of them to the Tyros. I guess I need to buy a new set of stereo system, either the Tyros one or the Z2200. if I were to connect my computer speaker system to the Tyros, what should I do? (the systems are not cheap, they were all around $200 originally. I wish I could use them)

Thanks everybody, I am reading the manual now...

connect them to the line out you can buy adapters at radio shack, or connect them to the headphone jack I have done both with computer speakers.

Congratulations on your purchase...it was a good choice...use it well and enjoy...I just bought a psr3000..I now have the 2100 and the 3000 and am still learning what all the goodies are. This site and others like it with all of the knowledge that's passed on from the great members that share what they know without hesitation can only make learning easier....again, thanks to all...

Thank you, Mike. I was so stupid. i thought the Phone jack is for Microphone. Now I connected it to the phone jack. Wow, I got the fantastic stereo sound.

Hi, Tony. I read that you got the PSR 3000 from Jamie. Let us study together.

Tigerfool:

Congratulations & welcome to the Tyros owner fan club. I've been performing with mine for two years now, and continue to love it more than ever. I trust you will too.

In addition to the excellent sites already listed by the others on this thread, here are a couple more to check out:

Though I'm currently in the midst of back 2 back holiday gig madness right now, I want to say: Happy holidays and the best to all in 2005.

Scott

Tigerfool,

You are welcome! To add to Scott’s excellent suggestion, you should bookmark this link page too. Tons of resources that relate to your Tyros and PSR owners in general.

I hope you have figured out by now how to replace the factory .MFD file with the one that shows the correct Song Names.

Thank you, Tapas. That is a page of encyclopedia!! Great.

About the original MFD, I have not tried it yet. I ordered a Hard Drive. It will arrive Thursday. After I install the hard drive, I will upload some songs. If there is any problem, I may post it here. Thanks.
