1. How do I change one of the instruments in the accompanient part of the music style ...i tried and it only works for 3 seconds...

2. When I select a sound for ex trumpet I'd press 81 (Bank 8 , Instruement 1) and if i change to another instrument and come back to the trumpet I have to press 81 again instead of just 8....is there a way to set up wot instruments I want to use with a style ?

3. Any tips on E86 ?

The Roland E86 sounds much much better than my ex Roland E500...something I noticed the moment I started playing...E86 is bigger and heavier too.

Thanks
RolandFan

If I remember correctly the only way to save your changes for the sounds in the accompliment is to save it in a user program. I always wished for a better way.

Nobody answer to Roland fan question. It seems there are no Roland users in this forum.
Probably, this forum is dominated by Yamaha users. There are Synthzone dedicated forums for roland, technics and solton, but not for yamaha. Therefore, it seems all yamaha users are in this forum. So, it has left to be a general forum, and is going to be a hidden or not recognized Yamaha forum.
Is it certain?
Nobody answer to Rolandfan? Why?

The problem is the E86 is now an old model and everybody just talks about the lastest board.
Go to www.google.com and search roland e86. You will be presented with a list of links for the E86
Plus as DNJ suggested. This is a good Roland Web site. http://www.daytonamusic.com/rag/

Hi
Can you actually edit and resave styles on the E86?

I think normally if you alter a style you have to be able to save it, to keep any changes.

best wishes

Thanks for all your input friends. I have managed to figure out how to use the user programme...trouble is it only saves one voice but atleast everything thing else like tempo, transpose is set as well.

Unfortunately you can only use the user programme for the keyboards internal styles...pity cos i use alot of disk styles as well...

I am loving the E86...some of the sax sounds rival anything from yamaha : )
