I need a new one.
Any other suggestions? Must be light-weight, yet padded. No wheels necessary.
Thanks,
DonM

Looks quite cheap and nasty but may be sturdy enough as looks can always be deceiving. I wouldn't want to risk my T2 in there though with those handles.
Not certain who makes cases in the USA but one of the best light weight cases I've come across for the T2 is on the link below.
http://www.t-2.nl/

Click on where it says Flightcases Tyros 2.
They are not cheap though and then there is shipping on top.

Don:

I found out that the T2 fits into a 76 case, I would sugest to check out the Gator GK-76 semi-rigid keyboard case, you will have a little space left over for perhaps the cables, or more padding for the T2, it has wheels, so far my customers like it, 'cause the Yamaha cases are more expensive, and I dont think it compromise the safety of the T2.

I have been using this cases for my PSR 3000 and the Korg PA60, and for almost 3 years and they are GREAT !!(aldo I sold the kboards with the cases, one replaced by the T2, and the other I just sold 3 weeks ago), and I think, you transport OFTEN your gear like me.

Don:
I bought the yamaha ty1 case at musicians friend, (cheaper than yamaha), It has lots of padding and probably good enough with a bit of babying (laying it on the back seat etc.) but wouldn't mix it with speakers and amps etc. in the back of a van. I think it brings the total to about 40 lbs. it has wheels also.

I searched around for one before I bought the yam, gator has some nice looking ones but could'nt find one to fit. Don't think the ty2 cases have hit the Usa yet from yamaha?

Good luck, on finding the right one for you.

Hey Don, I have a Tyros softcase still in the box (never been used) if you have $80.00 then its yours. You'll have to pay shipping of course, but I think it's a good price.

DonM, I have the ProTec 47 from finecases as referenced in Eric,B's post above. A great fit for the T2 with excellent protection at an acceptable price. You would probably be happy with this case.

Thanks for the help guys. I will consider some of these options. Maybe the case from jpapas would be a good buy.

Don if you are interested just let me know, cause I do have a Paypal account, but since I haven't sold anything before I'm not really sure how this works.
