Donny. Yep, that truly was a memorable gig. This was a jazz inspired concert performing classic pop-jazz standards, and working with a pro level horn player like Art, who I respect so highly, is always a gratifying LIVE 'music making' experience of which I so sorely miss with OMB performance alone. There's a spontaneous 'musical interaction' that occurs when Art & I play together, especially when improvising, as both of us is never quite sure what the other will play next. We NEVER rehearse together (as we live 250 miles apart), yet when we get together on a gig, we seem to always sound polished, as evidenced by the approval of our audiences.

Ok, this said, I urge everyone here to play/perform with other 'equal' or 'more competant' level musicians than yourself at every opportunity. I guarantee it will raise your musicianship playing level & take your performance satisfaction to new heights. Afterall, the critical ingredient to making music missing in OMB keyboard playing alone is the 'musically creative interaction' between live musicians.
